The Breast Cancer Registry of Greater Cincinnati (BCRGC) is a database
of confidential information voluntarily provided by local breast cancer
survivors. Led by researchers at the University of Cincinnati’s
Department of Environmental Health, the Registry’s primary purpose is to
help researchers find the causes of breast cancer.
The purpose of the Breast Cancer Registry of
Greater Cincinnati (BCRGC) is to support and facilitate studies that
address a wide variety of research questions about breast cancer. Such
studies may address epidemiological and social-behavioral factors and
include basic research studies that do not involve clinical trials.
The Registry focuses on the causes of breast cancer, a crucial first
step in prevention. The Registry is not a clinical
trial.
If you are a breast cancer survivor, we need your help to find the
causes of breast cancer. Any woman or man ever diagnosed with
breast cancer is eligible to enroll in the Registry. If you have
not yet done so, please enroll in the Registry by clicking the "How
to Enroll" tab under the "About
the Registry" tab above. Together we can help
make a difference.
