The Cincinnati BCERC needs volunteers to assist with
different aspects of the research studies and community education
activities. Please check the volunteer activities that interest you.
Someone will contact you to discuss your interests and how we might work
together.
Educational Programs – assist
with planning and conducting the annual public education forum and
other presentations.
Graphic Design – assist with
the creation of illustrations/clip art for inclusion in educational,
training and display materials.
READ (Read, Evaluate and
Disseminate) – assist with translating research findings for the
general public by writing and editing lay abstracts based on
scientific publications by Cincinnati BCERC researchers.
Study Helper – assist with the
Growing Up Female study at school sites and Children’s Hospital.
Support Network – assist with
the development and dissemination of educational materials for the
Growing Up Female study participants and their families.
Website – assist with updating
the website to ensure content is timely, interesting, useful and
readable.
