Purpose of Panel Discussion There seem to
be more questions than answers when
it comes to speaking with our
daughters about their own breast
health. Things become more
complicated when their mother is a
breast cancer survivor. We have
gathered a panel of local experts
who will answer the many questions
that you have regarding this topic
at the various ages of your
daughter’s life and experiences.
Panelists include experts in medical
oncology, pediatrics and genetic
counseling as well as breast cancer
survivors with firsthand
experiences. While the panel will be
geared towards mothers and
daughters, we hope that
grandmothers, aunts, friends and
health care professionals will gain
insight from the advice offered in
this discussion. The future of our
young women depends on a community
of help.
