The central theme of
this program is to investigate the
mechanisms underlying the adverse health
effects of exposure to complex mixtures
of carcinogenic metals and polycyclic
aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and the
development of effective strategies for
bioremediation of PAHs in
metal-contaminated mixtures.
The Administration
Core of the UC SBRP exists to foster
integration and synergy within the
program, provide an administrative
structure to oversee the scientific and
financial management of the program,
oversee the use of the research support
cores and facilities, and foster
communication with related programs.
UC SBRP is aided by
an External Advisory Committee, which
provides outside advice on the operation
of the program. The EAC members
are:
-
Robert H. Tukey,
University of California, San Diego
-
Henry H. Tabak, US

-
John Loper,

-
Tracy Greeley-Adams,
